Our Quarter 2 Townhall brought us together to reflect on our progress, share key business updates, and recognize individuals and teams who turned commitment into results. Each award celebrated not only exceptional performance, but also the teamwork, ownership, and dedication that enables our success.

In her keynote address, GoGBS President, Tina Alvarez, emphasized that our brand is shaped by every interaction and every experience we create—for our customers, our partners, and one another. She reinforced that accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and a customer-centric mindset are what turns our values into meaningful action.

Great organizations don’t just improve outcomes—they continuously improve the way work gets done.

Last May, our Transformation and Operational Excellence team launched and completed our inaugural Process Excellence (PX) Bootcamp, bringing together participants from across the business to strengthen their capabilities in process management, problem-solving, and continuous improvement.

Through a structured learning journey that combines process documentation, waste identification, and improvement frameworks with hands-on application, participants explored the fundamentals of process excellence and gained practical tools to approach everyday operational challenges through a lens of innovation, efficiency, and value creation.

A key highlight of the PX bootcamp was the introduction of AI-powered solutions that support process mapping and documentation, reinforcing our commitment to leveraging technology to enhance the way we work.

As we advance our transformation journey, programs like the PX Bootcamp help build the capabilities, mindset, and shared ownership needed to drive sustainable business impact across GoGBS.

The PX Bootcamp was designed and facilitated by John Pierre Peciller (Manager), Jericho Ryan Cardejon (Sr. Analyst), and Kristin Camille Dinglasan (Analyst), from the GoGBS Transformation and Operational Excellence team.

Building Future-Ready Leaders at GoGBS 💙 💚

In a constantly evolving business landscape, effective leadership is more important than ever. At GoGBS, we are committed to equipping our leaders with the capabilities needed to navigate change, seize opportunities, and create meaningful business impact.

As part of our commitment to continuous learning and development, our leaders recently participated in the Gokongwei Group Leadership Foundations Academy, a program designed to strengthen strategic thinking, leadership effectiveness, and purpose-driven decision-making.

Among the program participants were GoGBS leaders: Donna Armas, Invoice-to-Pay & Order-to-Cash Group Manager, who completed Cohort 2, and Milcah Llamas, Site Finance Director, together with Karlo Emmanuel Te, Infrastructure, Platforms & Operations Group Manager, who participated in Cohort 3.

A highlight of the academy was the Group Innovation Pitch, an immersive learning experience where participants collaborated to develop and present business case solutions inspired by real opportunities and challenges across the Gokongwei Group. Through collaboration, strategic thinking, and innovation, they showcased ideas aimed at creating tangible value and driving business transformation.

We are proud of our leaders for embracing opportunities to learn, grow, and challenge conventional thinking. Their participation reflects GoGBS' commitment to building future-ready leaders who inspire teams, drive innovation, and contribute to the continued success of our organization.
