Responsibilities:

• Consistently meet the assigned sales target.

Qualifications:

We are looking for dispatchers that will handle the planning and scheduling of bulk fuel deliveries. We prefer candidates who have a keen eye for detail and experience in scheduling & logistics in the petroleum industry. It is a MUST that you have EXPERIENCE IN SCHEDULING (or dispatching) high-volume retail FUEL DELIVERIES to gas stations. Also, we expect you to be well-versed in Microsoft Excel (macros, etc).

This work is for an Australian-owned petrol and convenience company which offers customers premium quality fuels in Australia and will be done remotely.

About the role:

In performing this critical role, you will manage the optimal scheduling performance for bulk fuels and ensure that fleet efficiency is maintained. The core duties of the Fuel Scheduler will include but not be limited to:

• Planning the deliveries of bulk fuels ensuring optimal resource allocation whilst providing the highest level of customer service and adhering to HSSE requirements and regulations;
• Ensures accurate and on-time delivery;
• Monitoring scheduled activity and adjusting schedules to ensure sites do not stock out;
• Acting as an escalation point for all carrier and scheduling related issues;
• Managing stock levels at sites through consultation with customers and business information; and
• Completing the required scheduling reports daily.

About you

• Previous experience in scheduling in the fuel distribution industry;
• Knowledge of fuel delivery operations, equipment and the dangerous goods regulations;
• Previous experience in the transport of dangerous goods is essential;
• Experience of working in fast-paced, high-demand, delivery orientated environments;
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills; and
• Understanding of relevant Australian transport legislations for the safe delivery of dangerous goods and driver fatigue management.
