🔍 POSITION SUMMARY
The Plant Accountant I (PA1) is responsible for maintaining accurate accounting and inventory records while supporting efficient plant operations. The role ensures compliance with company policies and internal controls, provides reliable financial information, and helps safeguard company assets.
💼 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Review and validate accounting and inventory records
• Monitor inventory transactions, accounts receivable, deliveries, and reconciliations
• Conduct plant visits and monitor compliance with company policies and internal controls
• Prepare and submit timely operational and financial reports
• Assist in internal and external audit activities
• Coordinate with the Plant Accountant II (PA2) and Inventory Controllers
• Provide support to other plant locations and perform other assigned duties
🎓 QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Financial Management, or a related field
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
• Willing to travel and be assigned to different plant locations
• Willing to work flexible hours, including Saturdays, holidays, and extended hours when necessary
