Websites are often someone’s first gateway in getting to know a company’s work. So, we asked ourselves: 𝘏𝘰𝘸 𝘴𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘣𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘳𝘦𝘧𝘭𝘦𝘤𝘵 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘰𝘯𝘭𝘺 𝘸𝘩𝘰 𝘸𝘦’𝘷𝘦 𝘣𝘦𝘦𝘯, 𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘩𝘰𝘸 𝘸𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘬, 𝘩𝘰𝘸 𝘸𝘦 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘬, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘸𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘸𝘦’𝘳𝘦 𝘨𝘰𝘪𝘯𝘨?

Together, they unpack the ideas that challenged him, what made him proud to represent the Philippines, and what global conversations on behavior change could mean for designing better interventions here at home.

But programs still need clarity on the behavior that can move that result forward.

When the target behavior is unclear, limited resources can become spread across too many audiences, messages, channels, and activities without enough movement toward the desired action.

As the first nutrition commission of its kind in the Philippines, the BNC’s IRR serves as a bold and decisive step towards addressing the region’s health and food security challenges, and in strengthening their fight against malnutrition.

We were represented at the launch by our BARMM Relationship Officer and Liaison, Halima Satol-Ibrahim. Through our ongoing work supporting the Ministry of Health – BARMM in Social and Behavior Change, we are honored to contribute to this milestone alongside UNICEF Philippines, Philippine Legislators’ Committee on Population and Development, and Child Nutrition Fund.

The mission towards stronger nutrition does not end with the IRR launch. This is just the beginning of AHA! BD’s pledge to apply behavioral science and SBC in augmenting not only nutrition policies, but also implementing practical and sustainable nutrition systems.

Congratulations to the Ministry of Health - BARMM for this feat in championing nutrition. Together, we move closer to a healthier and more nourished Bangsamoro — ensuring that no child is denied the opportunity to grow, learn, and succeed because of malnutrition. 🌱
