As the first nutrition commission of its kind in the Philippines, the BNCโ€™s IRR serves as a bold and decisive step towards addressing the regionโ€™s health and food security challenges, and in strengthening their fight against malnutrition.

We were represented at the launch by our BARMM Relationship Officer and Liaison, Halima Satol-Ibrahim. Through our ongoing work supporting the Ministry of Health โ€“ BARMM in Social and Behavior Change, we are honored to contribute to this milestone alongside UNICEF Philippines, Philippine Legislatorsโ€™ Committee on Population and Development, and Child Nutrition Fund.

The mission towards stronger nutrition does not end with the IRR launch. This is just the beginning of AHA! BDโ€™s pledge to apply behavioral science and SBC in augmenting not only nutrition policies, but also implementing practical and sustainable nutrition systems.
