🤖 The AI race is entering a new phase. AI leaders are now talking about pacing frontier development, not just accelerating it. The bigger business question is shifting from “How fast can we adopt AI?” to “Can we govern it just as fast?”

📱 AI agents are moving closer to the mainstream. Meta’s Muse climbed to No. 2 on the US App Store shortly after launch. The interesting shift is from AI that answers questions to AI that actually gets things done for users.

🔐 Third party risk is still your risk. A recent breach involving an email provider led to hundreds of thousands of phishing emails reaching customers. Companies can secure their own systems well and still be exposed through the businesses they rely on.

👥 The talent shortage may run deeper than hiring demand. The US labor force has been shrinking, pushing employers to rethink rigid job titles and look more seriously at skills and transferable experience.

🔥 Growth and workforce capacity are starting to pull in different directions. 61 percent of employers expect revenue growth by 2027, while only half expect headcount to keep pace. That gap could make retention just as important as recruitment.
