UPDATE: Lifting of motion to close

It's been a month since our closure and we are hoping the process speeds up.

Anecon Study Abroad existing clients are not affected and usual full service will continue. We have a few more pending commitments and our quality of service will never be affected.

New clients will be on-hold to give way to legal process. As always, Anecon will show its full transparency to clientele.

ANECON Tourism Consultancy Services Inc. / ANECON Study Abroad hereby informs its clients, partners and the public that it has filed a Verified Motion to Lift Closure Order No. 42, Series of 2026 with the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW).

ANECON respectfully maintains that its actual operations and services do not constitute illegal recruitment and has submitted supporting documents and records for the DMW’s consideration.

ANECON is fully cooperating with the DMW proceedings and looks forward to the resolution of its Motion.

For the avoidance of doubt, the filing of the Motion is not being represented as an order lifting the Closure Order. ANECON will comply with the applicable directives of the DMW while the Motion remains pending.

ANECON thanks its clients, partners and the public for their patience and understanding.

We are aware of information currently circulating regarding Anecon Tourism Consultancy Services Inc.

WE ARE NOT A MANPOWER RECRUITMENT AGENCY.

Due to legalities, we are holding back a final statement as we comply with legal authorities. But for now I would like to share some screenshot where we proactively worked with BOI regarding this Bulgaria students (and to note, those 80+ students are not our students but instead came from ICIPP's sub-agent who illegally used our name). I have cleared this with IO when I proactively met with them. We will leave other evidences in proper legal channel.

We take matters concerning regulatory compliance seriously. We will cooperate with DMW on this matter.

We respectfully ask our clients, partners, students, and the public to allow the proper verification process to take place. We will provide further information when there are verified developments that warrant an update.
