🍎 SAMPLE COSTING – APPLE RAISIN MUFFINS

Let’s say gagawa ka ng Apple Raisin Muffins. Eto paano mo iko-compute ang cost per piece para malaman mo kung magkano dapat ang selling price mo.

Para makuha mo ung total cost eto ung breakdown.

Halimbawa yung sa flour

Gumamit ka ng 2 cups of flour sa iyong recipe.

Ang price ng flour is ₱50 per kilo, and for estimating purposes, we say:

1 kilo of flour ≈ 8 cups.

So if ₱50 = 8 cups

Then: ₱50 ÷ 8 cups = ₱6.25 per cup

So for 2 cups: ₱6.25 × 2 = ₱12.50

Ang cost of 2 cups of flour = ₱12.50

Para naman sa TOTAL COST (for 12 muffins):
₱12.50 + ₱30 + ₱7.50 + ₱22.50 + ₱30 = ₱102.50

📌 Cost per Muffin = ₱102.50 ÷ 12 = ₱8.54

Ngayon ang tanong, paano mo iprepresyo yung muffins

To earn profit, add markup:

🔹 Example Markup: 100%
Selling Price per Muffin = ₱8.54 x 2 = ₱17.00

✅ Optionally, round it up to ₱18 or ₱20 para may allowance ka for packaging or unexpected costs.

TIP: Always include hidden costs like gas, electricity, packaging, and delivery kung applicable.

Kailangan ko bang magsumite ng financial statements? Dapat ba itong audited o unaudited?

Para sa mga corporate taxpayers:

1️⃣ Kung ang gross sales ay higit sa ₱3 milyon, kinakailangan magsumite ng Audited Financial Statements (AFS), kahit na gumagamit ng itemized deductions o Optional Standard Deduction (OSD).
2️⃣ Kung ang gross sales ay ₱3 milyon o mas mababa, kinakailangan magsumite ng Unaudited Financial Statements (UFS), kahit na gumagamit ng itemized deductions o OSD.

For Example:

Company A: May gross sales na ₱4 milyon noong 2024. Dahil lampas ito sa ₱3 milyon, kailangan nilang magsumite ng AFS.

Company B: May gross sales na ₱2.5 milyon noong 2024. Dahil mas mababa ito sa ₱3 milyon, sapat na ang UFS para sa kanila.

📌 Note: This threshold applies only for Income Tax Return (ITR) filing. The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has separate rules regarding financial statement submission.
