The Center for Research and Communication’s Institute for Local Development (CRC-ILD) is honored to have been designated by the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) as a member of the Policy Expert Group composed of academic institutions and think tanks who will support the 1991 Local Government Code of the Philippines Review and Amendment Program (LGC RevAmP).

LGC RevAmP had its 1st National Convention on November 24, 2025 at Sequoia Hotel Manila Bay, Parañaque City, co-organized by the DILG Bureau of Local Government Development and the Union of Local Authorities of the Philippines. This marks the start of the series of consultations and dialogues at the national and sub-national levels towards updating the Local Government Code.

CRC-ILD’s participation reflects its commitment to contribute research, expertise, and policy insights to support strengthened local governance as a key driver of inclusive and accelerated growth in the Philippines. 🇵🇭
