Currently serving as CEO of Batal Human Resource Services, Ainul brings more than two decades of integrated HR expertise, communications strategy, and organizational excellence to her work. Her journey reads like a masterclass in how identity and ambition aren't competing forces but complementary ones.
A native Maranao speaker fluent in professional English, conversational Arabic, and Bisaya, she earned her MBA from the prestigious Asian Institute of Management while building a career that has taken her from teaching business courses in Riyadh to managing HR at multinational organizations to leading organizational transformation at the International Committee of the Red Cross. Each role deepened her understanding of one truth: that organizations thrive when HR and communications work as an integrated strategy, not separate functions.
But what really sets Ainul apart is her international recognition in professional communications. She earned four major Toastmasters International championships between 1998 and 2001, including the prestigious International Speech Contest Champion for the Middle East. These aren't just titles—they speak to her mastery of leadership communication at the highest level, a skill she now brings to developing others through her training and mentoring work.
And yes, she's also an entrepreneur. Since 2020, she's been building Big Poppa's Diner in Iligan City, which earned First Runner-Up in the Best Halal Restaurant Category at the 2022 Iligan Business Awards. That's her philosophy in action: professional excellence grounded in cultural authenticity.
Today, as CEO of Batal HR Services, Ainul is scaling her vision of strategic organizational leadership across the Philippine business landscape—one client, one team, one transformation at a time. Her legacy is clear: you don't have to choose between cultural identity and professional excellence. The greatest leaders build both.
