Firefighting ( How to use Fire Extinguisher with an acronym TPASS )

Passi City Fire Station personnel, headed by 𝗙𝗖𝗜𝗡𝗦𝗣 𝗔𝗥𝗟𝗘𝗡𝗘 𝗗𝗡 𝗠𝗘𝗖𝗜𝗡𝗔𝗦, City Fire Marshal, conducted a Skills Inventory/Refresher Program on Firefighting (How to use Fire Extinguisher with an acronym TPASS).

Led by 𝗙𝗖𝗦𝗨𝗣𝗧 𝗪𝗜𝗟𝗕𝗘𝗥𝗧𝗢 𝗥𝗜𝗖𝗢 𝗡𝗘𝗜𝗟 𝗔 𝗞𝗪𝗔𝗡 𝗧𝗜𝗨, 𝗗𝗦𝗖, Officer-in-Charge, and guided by 𝗙𝗖𝗦𝗨𝗣𝗧 𝗘𝗗𝗪𝗜𝗡 𝗣 𝗩𝗔𝗥𝗚𝗔𝗦, 𝗗𝗦𝗖, Regional Director of BFP Region 6, this initiative highlights our continuous effort to enhance operational competence. Such ongoing program ensures our firefighters are ready to respond swiftly and effectively during fire incidents and other emergencies, ultimately saving lives and protecting property.

𝗩𝗘𝗛𝗜𝗖𝗨𝗟𝗔𝗥 𝗔𝗖𝗖𝗜𝗗𝗘𝗡𝗧 ||

Passi City Fire Station, under the leadership of 𝗙𝗖𝗜𝗡𝗦𝗣 𝗔𝗥𝗟𝗘𝗡𝗘 𝗗𝗡 𝗠𝗘𝗖𝗜𝗡𝗔𝗦, City Fire Marshal, through the Shift B duty personnel, promptly responded to a vehicular accident that transpired at Brgy. Agtambo, Passi City, Iloilo dated 12 October 2026.

Upon arrival, the scene was secured. Patient was assessed (vital signs were taken and recorded ). After assessment, patient was immediately loaded into the ambulance, transported to the nearest hospital, and turned over to the attending physician and nurse on duty."

The activity provided an opportunity to evaluate the effectiveness of the recently conducted drill, identify strengths and areas for improvement, and strengthen coordination among participating agencies and stakeholders. The insights and recommendations gathered will help enhance preparedness, response capabilities, and safety measures within schools and the community.

The inspection was conducted to ensure the personnel’s proper appearance, discipline, readiness, and compliance with established standards and procedures.

This initiative reflects the Bureau of Fire Protection's unwavering commitment to operational excellence and emergency preparedness under the leadership of BFP Officer-in-Charge 𝗙𝗖𝗦𝗨𝗣𝗧 𝗪𝗜𝗟𝗕𝗘𝗥𝗧𝗢 𝗥𝗜𝗖𝗢 𝗡𝗘𝗜𝗟 𝗔. In line with its commitment to maintaining operational readiness, Passi City Fire Station, headed by 𝗙𝗖𝗜𝗡𝗦𝗣 𝗔𝗥𝗟𝗘𝗡𝗘 𝗗𝗡 𝗠𝗘𝗖𝗜𝗡𝗔𝗦, City Fire Marshal, conducted a Skills Refresher Activity on Drills and Ceremonies for its personnel.

This activity focused on strengthening proper bearing, discipline,teamwork and uniformity during official formations and ceremonial events.
