15 FILIPINOS AMONG 2,781 BILLIONAIRES IN THE WORLD
Ultra-wealthy Filipinos joined the global cohort of billionaires who saw a record surge in their combined wealth over the last 12 months.
According to Forbes latest ranking of the nine-comma club, the 15 ultra bilyonaryos on the list had a combined net worth of $48.2 billion this year, up 16 percent from $41.5 billion.
The total wealth of all 2,781 billionaires in the world (26 more than the previous all time high in 2021) jumped by $2 trillion to $14.2 trillion this year.
