MICRO TAXPAYERS, MAAARING MAKABAYAD NANG MAS MAGAAN SA BIR ABATEMENT PROGRAM

𝐻𝑎𝑛𝑔𝑔𝑎𝑛𝑔 ₱80,000 𝑡𝑎𝑥 𝑙𝑖𝑎𝑏𝑖𝑙𝑖𝑡𝑖𝑒𝑠 𝑘𝑎𝑑𝑎 𝑡𝑎𝑥𝑎𝑏𝑙𝑒 𝑦𝑒𝑎𝑟 𝑚𝑎𝑎𝑎𝑟𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑚𝑎𝑠𝑎𝑘𝑜𝑝; 𝑎𝑝𝑙𝑖𝑘𝑎𝑠𝑦𝑜𝑛 ℎ𝑎𝑛𝑔𝑔𝑎𝑛𝑔 𝐷𝑒𝑐. 31

May pagkakataon ang mga kwalipikadong micro taxpayers na ayusin ang kanilang pending tax liabilities sa ilalim ng One-Time Abatement Program ng Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR).

Sa seminar ng BIR Revenue District Office No. 063–Oriental Mindoro sa Socorro kahapon, ipinaliwanag sa humigit-kumulang 300 taxpayers mula Socorro, Pola at Pinamalayan ang programa sa ilalim ng Revenue Regulations No. 4-2026.

Saklaw nito ang ilang kwalipikadong micro taxpayers na may delinquent accounts, pending tax assessments at open stop-filer cases, alinsunod sa mga kondisyon ng BIR.

Para sa mga kasong pasok sa programa, maaaring mag-apply ang micro taxpayers na may kabuuang tax liabilities na hindi hihigit sa ₱80,000 kada taxable year upang mabawasan o ma-abate ang kaukulang assessments, surcharges at interest.

Itinuturing na micro taxpayer ang indibidwal o negosyong may gross sales na hindi lalampas sa ₱3 milyon kada taxable year at nakatala sa BIR bilang micro taxpayer.

Ayon sa BIR, kailangang magsumite ng prescribed application sa concerned Revenue District Office at magbayad ng ₱5,000 abatement fee gamit ang BIR Form No. 0605, bukod sa iba pang requirements at kaukulang bayarin depende sa kaso.

Hanggang Disyembre 31, 2026 ang availment period, maliban kung palawigin ng BIR.

Pinangunahan ni Revenue District Officer Regina P. Reforma ang aktibidad, habang ipinaliwanag ni Collection Section Chief Jojo M. Barrientos ang qualifications, coverage at proseso ng aplikasyon.

Layunin ng programa na matulungan ang maliliit na negosyo na maisaayos ang kanilang tax records at makabalik sa compliant status.

MAY LUMANG BIR TAX CASE KA? BAKA MAY PAGKAKATAON PARA MA-ABATE ITO.

Kung may delinquent account, tax assessment, stop-filer case, o ibang qualified BIR case ka, maaaring sakop ito ng One-Time Abatement Program para sa qualified micro taxpayers.

Bago ka magdesisyon na bayaran nang buo o pabayaan ang lumang case, ipa-check muna.

Maaaring maging eligible kung:
✔️ Micro taxpayer ayon sa BIR classification
✔️ Gross sales ay less than ₱3 million
✔️ May existing qualified case/liability on or before December 31, 2025
✔️ Basic tax + compromise penalties ay not more than ₱80,000 per taxable year

₱5,000 one-time abatement fee per application — hindi ito ang halaga ng iyong tax debt.

⚠️ REMEMBER:
Ang non-compliance ay maaaring magkaroon ng corresponding penalties. Mas mabuting mag-check at mag-correct ngayon kaysa hintayin pang magkaroon ng findings.
