NGCP informs the public that transmission facilities in Misamis Occidental and Zamboanga del Sur are under normal operations amid reports of a scheduled power interruption in these areas at 8:00PM, 22 May 2026 to 3:00AM, 23 May 2026.

Consumers may refer further their concerns to their local distribution utility or electric cooperative.

Emergency power interruption in Misamis Occidental province tomorrow, Thursday, 21 May 2026.

Time: 3:00AM-7:00AM

Affected: MOELCI I; MOELCI II

Reason: Urgent corrective works on sagging conductors on the Aurora-Calamba 69kV line between two structures in Brgy. Lorenzo Tan, Tangub City.

Specific affected areas are determined by the electric cooperatives. NGCP will exert all efforts to restore power earlier or as scheduled.
