It's really strange, the situation with a country like Spain, I swear..
Just so you know, Spain just made a historic decision a little while ago that its bases in the south won't allow the US to use them in the war against Iran—especially the two bases "Morón" and "Rota." These are considered extremely important stations for refueling aircraft, and they were permanently stationed there. Suddenly today, 15 planes were kicked out and headed toward France and Germany.
The guy behind this decision is the Spanish Prime Minister "Pedro Sánchez." And the man, over the past two years, has taken positions that were all pretty striking and somewhat odd for a European country—condemning the attack on Iran, unlike many European countries that lean toward the US stance, and the latest was Britain just yesterday.
The same "Pedro Sánchez" is the one who took the initiative and recognized the state for our people during the time of aggression, saying it's a matter of historical justice. He's the highest European official to officially accuse the enemy of genocide, and he announced nine measures to apply pressure, including halting arms exports, and called for their exclusion from all sports competitions until the barbarism ends. He also announced he won't participate in "Eurovision" as long as they're involved in it. And he doesn't care if they're described as hostile to them or if he loses a friend like America.
Spain, which until 1986 wasn't recognizing the entity and was forced to recognize it under pressure to join the European Union, is the same Spain that voted in the United Nations to grant our people non-member observer status. It's one of the few that didn't participate in World War II and doesn't carry the European guilt complex caused by "Hi**er" that led to their presence among us today.
The strange thing is that Spain, which was once one of our fiercest enemies, today is taking positions that entire thrones are afraid to take—and it's right in the heart of the battlefield.
