The Department of Science and Technology โ€“ Philippine Textile Research Institute (DOST-PTRI), in partnership with the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Malolos and DOST Region III, proudly presented its textile innovations through the creative works of Malikhaing Malolenyo designers and weavers at the Textile Innovation Show, held at the Placida Pavilion Events Place in Malolos City on November 12, 2025.

The event formed part of the 2025 Regional Science, Technology, and Innovation Week (RSTW) in Central Luzon.The show celebrated local artistry and innovation in the textile and fashion sectors. It featured designers and weavers from Malolos who showcased contemporary and culturally inspired creations made from sustainable and locally developed materials. Among the featured designers were Anna Ruth Javier, Annabel Carpio, Erich Lorena, and Chriztine Dela Cruz; their collection was inspired by the rich culture and history that underscored the unique characteristic and versatility of the Philippine tropical fabrics (PTF) and handloom weaving training.
