After I lost a father at age 8, life seems very hard for our family. As the eldest child, I will always be the second priority to give way to the needs of my younger siblings. To help my 29-year-old widowed mother, I went out to fund my personal and school needs by working part-time while studying until I finished college. My simple ambition is to finish my studies and land a good job because this
is how I was conditioned to earn an income. For 13 years, I worked hard in one of the biggest broadcasting network in the Philippines. Like any other employee's mindset, I did my best in my career because it's my family's bread and butter. I even experienced working in several departments and two subsidiaries of the same company at the same time to be able to provide for the needs of the family. I became very stressed because my income was not enough for my children's growing needs. My husband, who is doing freelance work and helping his brother's business, is not sustainable because his income is not stable. I have to decide to leave corporate because I have changed my priorities. Now, I realized if I did not choose in life for my career and still be working with that network, what would have been my life now? Going into self-employment, starting my own business, and being my boss, life will improve. I invested traditional business like a barbershop, video shop, but ended up selling it. I got into sales as insurance agent, real estate agent, I tried BPO industry working home-based for foreign business owners – eventually, the result was still the same, and worst my health was affected – (hypertension with maintenance, bloating, swelling feet due to poor blood circulation, insomnia at age 46). The cycle repeatedly continues, to the point that even food is scarce, and we need to rent a small house with just one room to sustain ourselves. Thankful to God, who strengthened me not to give up, he uses a friend who led me to Riway. My deteriorating health was the cause for my pursuit even though I have no money to buy a single bottle, nothing even to pawn or sell to buy one. At that moment, I am convinced of the value of the product, but knowing that it's a network marketing company, my belief level was not 100% because of the industry's bad reputation. Initially, I want the product, and I have no choice but to invite people and learn closely because they say I can get the product for free. Barely six months from my membership in Riway, I earned my first million without knowing how I even earned it. Along the way, i began to see who Riway is and how blessed I am to be in Riway not because of the income only but the best part I can be part of making a change in people's health and life. I learn new things, traveled to several countries, meet new friends, and have more time for what truly matters – relationships (to God, family, fellowmen). This platform is incomparable as to the freedom it can offer and financial rewards. Stop following the money and start pursuing your passion.
