TECHNICAL SALES ENGINEER (Caloocan)
Job Description/Functions/ Duties and Responsibilities
Must be a graduate of Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Chemical Technology or any related technical courses
Must be a licensed Chemical Engineer, Chemist, Chemical Technologist or related technical field
Must have technical sales experience for a minimum of one (1) year
With good sales, PR and people skills
Will do field works, collection, monitoring, coordination and other related functions
Preferably with driver’s license and residing in Caloocan or nearby cities
Provide technical knowledge, support and skills in maintaining, developing and expanding the current and future products and services of the company and contribute to the over-all growth of the business.
1. Maintain and improve existing products and customers of the company
2. Monitor consumption, status and direction of existing customers and market
3. Establish good PR and communication channels and liaison with the customers and the company
4. Improve and introduce new applications or uses of existing products
5. Introduce and develop new products or services to existing customers and market
6. Monitor and profile upcoming industry and potential market for existing products
7. Develop new market and customers for existing and future products of the company
8. Assist in developing the supply chain (supplier/source, formulation/manufacturing, storing, logistics & delivery to customers) and roll-out (marketing) of new products in the market
9. Provide technical support and assistance in the operations and other concerned departments of the company.
10. Contribute and support the over-all marketing and sales strategies and activities of the company.
11. All company Technical Sales Engineers, salespersons, logistics coordinator and personnel will report directly to the V.P. Sales & Marketing or his assigned personnel.
12. All Technical Sales Engineers are required to reach reasonable monthly sales quota set by the company, without commission.
13. All salespersons and collectors are required to submit weekly and monthly reports reflecting their activities and progress in the company.
14. The official work hours are 8:00 am until 5:00 pm, Monday to Saturday. Thou, if needed or necessary, flexitime may be allowed for sales and collection group. The company expects all salespersons their full dedication and commitment to their work and even beyond their call of duty if necessary. They will be properly compensated and remunerated for their work in the company. They are entitled for over-time pay if they wish to declare and claim it. Over-time pay should be in writing and approved by authorized officer.
15. The company will issue for free a company cell phone with sim card that will be used strictly for business only or related to their functions in the company.
16. The company will provide transportation and representation allowances in all official functions and activities of the salesperson subject to written liquidation and official receipts.
17. The company may issue a company car to the salesperson or may provide car service with driver for official use only.
18. In the event of termination, resignation or any other reason resulting to the separation of the employee from the company, the employee is obligated and further agrees that they will not disclose to any third party person any records, documents, materials, information, whether written and/or stored in electronic, digital, and/or analog format, that may pertain to the company’s business or activities, without prior written approval from RBZ. Furthermore, they are obligated and agree unconditionally before separation, to return and surrender any and all documents including properties (cell phone, company car and any proprietary ownership of the company including but not limited to contact numbers of customers, business cards and others) of the company that may have come into their possession during their employment in the company.
19. The employee should allow a minimum turn-over period of one (1) month after the company formally accepts a written letter of resignation from the employee for proper turn-over of all documents, procedures, information, company accounts and training of in-coming sales employee.
