Happening today at Kido's Point Sabang Cabugao Ilocos Sur 🤙🏻
Kido's Point is an emerging surf spot in our hometown Ilocos Sur. It used to be an elusive and underground spot up north as it is located in a remote fishing community in Cabugao, but has recently gained traction when it got included in the leg of the Philippine Surf Championship Tour. The north swell during this time of the year breaks to the edge of the reef into long and consistent right-handers that will keep you stoked for days! 💯
The spot was named after the local fisherman named Ronald “Kido” Kido Cabasug who was discovered and trained by an Australian surfer by the name of Rene Hodgens. Since then, a community of local surfers from Ilocos Sur was formed. By hosting and supporting local events and competitions, we are able to reinforce surf tourism in our hometown, and most especially nurture young and upcoming talents to pursue their dreams! ✨
