Pumapalo na sa ₱10000 kada kilo ang presyo ng siling labuyo sa ibang pamilihan, ayon sa mga nagtitinda. Anila, malaki ang naging epekto ng nagdaang bagyo sa ani at suplay ng sili, na nagdulot ng kakulangan at pagtaas ng presyo.

Ayon pa sa ilang vendor, nabawasan ang dating ng suplay mula sa mga taniman matapos masira ang mga pananim dahil sa masamang panahon. Dahil dito, napilitan silang mag-adjust ng presyo upang matustusan ang puhunan.

Samantala, umaasa ang mga nagtitinda at mamimili na unti-unting bababa ang presyo kapag bumalik sa normal ang produksyon at suplay ng siling labuyo sa mga susunod na linggo.
