Ledesma, Jr., Jose P. Magsaysay, Jr., Emerson Tan, and Angela Kirsten Villaluz for allegedly selling unregistered securities and operating unauthorized investment schemes.

The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) warns the public against websites, mobile applications, social media pages, and other online platforms that are unauthorizedly using the names, corporate identities, branding, registration details, and regulatory credentials of legitimate financing and lending companies and online lending platforms.

Recent reports received by the Commission involve the unauthorized use of the names and identities of TALA FINANCING PHILIPPINES INC., MABILIS CASH FINANCING CORP., PERA SAYO LENDING INC., and the former online lending platform name "Zippeso" previously associated with LENDORA LENDING CORP.

The public is strongly advised to verify financing and lending companies and their authorized online lending platforms through the official SEC website and SEC Check App, avoid downloading or transacting with suspicious applications and websites, refrain from sending advance payments, and exercise extreme caution when dealing with online loan offers and digital financial solicitations.

𝗣𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗦 𝗥𝗘𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗦𝗘
𝗕𝗜𝗥 𝗘𝗫𝗧𝗘𝗡𝗗𝗦 𝗧𝗔𝗫 𝗗𝗘𝗔𝗗𝗟𝗜𝗡𝗘𝗦 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗘𝗔𝗥𝗧𝗛𝗤𝗨𝗔𝗞𝗘-𝗔𝗙𝗙𝗘𝗖𝗧𝗘𝗗 𝗔𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗦

The Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) has issued Revenue Memorandum Circular No. 62-2026, extending to June 30, 2026 certain tax filing, payment, and document submission deadlines for taxpayers registered with RDO No. 110 (General Santos City and Sarangani) and RDO No. 111 (South Cotabato).

Under the Circular, covered deadlines falling from June 8 to June 29, 2026 are moved to June 30, 2026. Taxpayers covered by this RMC shall not be subjected to the imposition of penalties, surcharges, and interest, provided that the concerned tax returns, payments, and submissions are made within the extended period.

“The President has directed a whole-of-government response to support affected communities and accelerate recovery efforts. Through this extension, we hope to provide affected taxpayers additional time and flexibility as families, businesses, local governments, and national government agencies attend to immediate needs and recovery work,” BIR Commissioner Charlito Martin R. Mendoza said.

Commissioner Mendoza also said that the Bureau has instructed the concerned Revenue Region and Revenue District Offices in the affected areas to inspect their facilities and ensure that workplaces are safe and operational before resuming regular office operations.

PLCs are advised to review their corresponding tier classifications and take note of the applicable implementation timelines, reporting obligations, and sustainability-related disclosure requirements under the said issuance.

The public is advised to remain cautious when dealing with online lending applications and websites. Always verify if a financing or lending company is registered with the SEC before transacting.

Avoid clicking suspicious links, downloading applications from unverified sources, or sharing personal information, banking details, passwords, and OTPs with unknown entities. Be careful of online lenders asking for advance fees, deposits, or other payments before loan release.

Batay sa impormasyon na nakalap ng Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), ang 𝗜𝗡𝗩𝗘𝗦𝗖𝗢𝗥𝗨𝗠 ay nagpapakilalang isang online trading at investment platform na nangangako ng mataas at hindi makatotohanang kita mula sa pamumuhunan.

Tandaan na ito ay 𝗛𝗜𝗡𝗗𝗜 𝗥𝗘𝗛𝗜𝗦𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗗𝗢 at 𝗪𝗔𝗟𝗔𝗡𝗚 𝗣𝗔𝗛𝗜𝗡𝗧𝗨𝗟𝗢𝗧 mula sa SEC upang mangalap ng investment mula sa publiko.

Nagbabala rin ang SEC laban sa mga AI-generated o manipulated videos, images, at iba pang promotional materials na maling gumagamit ng pangalan, imahe, o pagkakakilanlan ng mga kilalang personalidad, kabilang si Mayor Vico Sotto, upang magmukhang lehitimo ang isang investment scheme.

Huwag basta magtiwala sa mga online endorsements, videos, o posts na nangangako ng garantisadong kita o gumagamit ng mga kilalang personalidad upang hikayatin kang mag-invest.
