Hey everyone, I wanted to take a moment to talk about knife sharpening. First off, I need to apologize, but I won't be accepting any new sharpening service requests moving forward. There are a few reasons for this decision. For one, offering this service just isn't sustainable for me, and honestly, it ends up costing me precious time without really being profitable.Secondly, and this is a bit tougher to say, I've noticed a trend of increasing rudeness and entitlement from some people, and I don't feel I have the capacity to navigate that. Finally, my mental energy is better spent elsewhere. Dealing with constant inquiries and trying to explain the fundamentals of knife care has become quite draining. Despite this change, I want to express my sincere gratitude for the opportunity I've had to sharpen your knives and share the small amount of knowledge I possess with this community. It's been a rewarding experience in many ways. Thank you for understanding.

Good morning!

I’ve been using a dual sided diamond sharpening stone for at least 3 yrs now.

1. Repairs - Use it for repairing for dings, nicks, knife bellying/curved edge, and most definitely broken knife tip.

2. Maintenance - I use it to straighten curled edges. My knives are always almost at it’s sharpest evrytime I use it.

3. Practice - tactile and fast, less pressure, high impact

4. Restore - this is a great tool to flatten and straigthen your natural and synthetic whetstones.

I will no longer accept additional sharpening requests for Feb because I can only work on weekends (Sat night and Sundays).

I am only accepting 1-2 clients per week depending on the quantity of knives they need serviced.

Also, my lower back is not in its best condition at the moment.
