Position: Telco NOC Manager
Location: Makati City

The NOC Manager, this individual is accountable for the operational effectiveness of the NOC and Field Engineering. The focus is on managing the day operational activities, including supervising staff, resolving escalations, motivating and workload assignment to the NOC Staff.

As a NOC Manager, he/she is in charge of Customer Ticket Management; Sales Engineering, Documentation such as Network Topologies, Internal Wiki, How to Guides, Customer Topologies, NOC Processes.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- NOC Manager also serve as escalation point of our Customers and other NOC Techs
- Manages Field Engineering Support, Tech Side of Service Delivery, NOC Team
Oversee Reporting of Tickets, Circuit Turn ups and Installation
- Act as 3rd level support for product - BiCom.
- Responsible for management and development of Company's Network Operations Center (NOC).
- Develop procedures to support network product suite.
- Train team members of products, vendor platforms and systems and current and new technology in place.

Job Requirements (Skills & Qualifications)
- Degree in Engineering (Communications/ Electrical & Electronics/ Computer Science
- CCNA/ CCNP/ CCIE/ ITIL/ CTP/ ACIS/dCAP/ SSWP/ MTA/ MCSA/ MCSE certification is a plus
- With 5+ years experience in managing NOC environment
- Knowledge in Network Concept; server computing , telecom technologies
- Understanding of TCP/IP and QOS in the LAN, WAN and WLAN
- Has understanding of LAN, WAN, network protocols and networking protocols and technologies including switching, routing and security.
- Intermediate on Windows Server Technology
- Intermediate on Storage Technology
- Managerial and Leadership skill
- Amenable to work on shifting schedule
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Analytical and problem skills
- Ability to interact efficiently with peers and customers are required
- Ability to multi-task effectively
- Well developed people management and conflict resolutions skills

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: Php100,000.00 to Php120,000.00 /month

Experience:
Telecommunications: 5 years (Required)
Network Management: 3 years (Required)

Duties and responsibilities

Define configuration specifications and business analysis requirements
Perform quality assurance
Define reporting and alerting requirements
Help design, document and maintain system processes
Communicate with internal colleagues to understand the needs of departments and the organization as a whole
Use data modelling practices to analyze your findings and create suggestions for strategic and operational improvements and changes

Job Requirements (Qualifications)

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree in any field
At least 2 years- experience with data mining and/or reporting
Preferably someone with background with basic report programming tool such as C++ and Excel Macro.
Intermediate to advance proficiency level in MS Excel, Macro and Visual Basic
Intermediate proficiency level in MS PowerPoint and other MS Office tools
Intermediate to advance proficiency with SQL and dbase development
Intermediate to excellent level : English communication – verbal and written
Ability to follow instructions, keen to details, and highly analytical type.
Willing to work on a graveyard shift
