🔥 LPG GAS EXPLOSION: PREVENT IT BEFORE IT HAPPENS! 🔥
One small LPG leak can become a serious fire or explosion when it meets a spark or open flame. Don’t wait for an accident to happen—make LPG safety a daily habit.
🛡️ 7 SAFETY TIPS TO HELP PREVENT LPG ACCIDENTS
1️⃣ CHECK FOR LPG LEAKS REGULARLY
Watch for unusual gas odor, hissing sounds, or damaged connections.
2️⃣ KEEP THE LPG TANK UPRIGHT
Place it in a stable, well-ventilated area away from heat and direct sunlight.
3️⃣ INSPECT YOUR LPG HOSE & REGULATOR
Look for cracks, loose connections, corrosion, or signs of damage. Replace damaged parts immediately.
4️⃣ KEEP FLAMES & SPARKS AWAY 🚫🔥
Never smoke or use an open flame when you suspect an LPG leak.
5️⃣ TURN OFF THE LPG SUPPLY WHEN NOT IN USE
Make sure the regulator/valve is properly turned off after cooking.
6️⃣ IF YOU SMELL GAS, DON'T PANIC
❌ Do not turn electrical switches on or off.
❌ Do not light a match or lighter.
✅ If it is safe to do so, shut off the LPG supply.
✅ Move people away from the area and ventilate the space without creating sparks.
✅ If the smell persists or there is a significant leak, contact qualified emergency/fire personnel.
7️⃣ USE PROPER, COMPATIBLE LPG SAFETY EQUIPMENT 🛡️
Use quality regulators, hoses, clamps, and other safety devices that are appropriate for your LPG system. Have installation and inspection done by a qualified person.
❤️ REMEMBER:
Prevention is better than emergency response.
A few minutes of checking today can help protect your family, home, and livelihood tomorrow.
