In this life, it is important to BE who we aspire for the soonest time possible, DO what is necessary in order to HAVE what we want out of this life.

The journey to self-development is the KEY 🔑 to exceedingly be successful.

One of the greatest Leadership gurus, John Maxwell said...

"You'll never change your life until you change something you do daily. The secret of your success is found on your daily routine".

I'd add to this: Make that change towards the development of your personality and character. Be a little better version of yourself every single day.

How'd you do this? Ask yourself these questions the moment you wake up. "How can I be better today? In what ways can I improve myself? What did I do yesterday that I can do better today?

Then TAKE ACTION! Knowing is NOT enough. ACTIONS speak volumes.

A LESSON FROM ATM:
YOUR TRANSACTION IS BEING PROCESSED, PLEASE WAIT!!

Yesterday I was at the ATM to get some cash because I dearly needed money.

As I started to transact, the ATM showed me an inscription which said: Please insert your card.

I did.

And then another message popped up- Please enter your pin code.

I did.

And then another message came ...select the amount,

I did that too.

After I had done all this...the ATM showed me a message in BOLD letters...

YOUR TRANSACTION IS BEING PROCESSED, PLEASE WAIT !

Allow me to say.. when you have done all the things you can, you have prayed, you have fasted, you have even asked others to pray with you and for you but it seems as if nothing is happening in your life, wait patiently don't give up, don't move because your request is being processed.

WAIT!

Let me tell you, what made me wait is because my card was already in the ATM, I had already entered my pin code.

If I give up now and walk away, Lord have mercy, the next person will get all that I had requested!

Not because your messages aren't heard, not because your prayers are irrelevant, not because your fasting is meaningless, but because...

YOUR TRANSACTION IS BEING PROCESSED.

Wait and murmur not. Do not think you were born to suffer..
Your prayers are being processed so Wait upon the Lord🙏

I Know it's not easy but I encourage you, WAIT!!! As it is in Isaiah 40:31- "But they who wait for the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint."

HOW TO FIND HAPPINESS IN YOUR LIFE

1) Always be Improving - If you want to pursue happiness in your life or stay positive, realize that there is always the possibility that some happy event is waiting around the corner for you. And if you don't feel like waiting—go out and make something happy happen. As the quote from Abraham Lincoln goes, "The best way to predict your future is to create it."

2) Surround yourself with Happy People - People who are surrounded by happy people are more likely to become happy in the future

3) Recall Positive Memories - Simply think back to a time in your life when you were overcoming a challenge or to a time when you went through a significant life experience that changed you for the better could be effective in boosting your mood, and therefore, your happiness

4) Collective Goals or Self- Transcendence - People who placed the most weight on external achievements (money, education, work, leisure) were the least likely to be happy. Going after goals related to collectivism or self-transcendence may be most important to boosting and preserving happiness.

Happiness is ever-changing and your happiness meter can always be boosted. If you truly want to pursue happiness, surround yourself with positivity and see beyond your present circumstances to the bigger picture, both in terms of people and your place in the greater universe.

I am a forever student. I see lessons and relish in my learnings everyday.

For all my teacher friends and all the teachers around, please see that there are so many teachable moments everyday. Teaching does not only happen in the classroom. We become better teachers when we teach about life.

Principle I live by: Do not prepare the road for the kids. Instead, prepare the kids for the road. Only then, no matter what the condition of the roads are, the kids can take them on wonderfully.

HOPE

To have HOPE, we need conversion... from past deeds to becoming a better person.

To continue to HOPE, we need to have courage and learn to stand up against the oppression and wrongdoings we experience and see from around us.

To know that HOPE is with us, we need to have Christ within us... for only through HIM we are able to experience conversion and we can have the courage withstand anything that comes our way. And only through Christ that we have the strength to change OUR world.
