AN IMPORTANT MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT AND CEO:
Greetings!
I would like to announce that the Board of Directors of LX Corporation has decided to temporarily migrate most of our servers to a U.S.-based data centre, to give way to the rehabilitation of our current 11-year old local data centre.
This decision was made with you— our customers, in mind.
Instead of buying new hardware and/or physically relocating our servers to another local host, which would require 3 or more days of downtime, we see it best to purchase hardware from the same host where some of our current U.S.-based servers are already hosted. The first-hand experience we gathered from years of partnership with this current hosting provider helped us arrive at a decision where reliability and stability is of utmost importance. Furthermore, this will enable us to prepare the hardware in advance in order to make migrations as seamless as possible.
In the coming days or weeks, you might see series of announcements regarding few hours of minor interruptions, which might mean we are already on the process of migration. This will be done in phases in order to minimize downtime. We will also conduct these activities during off-peak hours to mitigate impact.
Consequently, on January 18, 2018, we will be using new Archive 3 (past 3 to 30 days data) server. This might mean that you will be UNABLE TO ACCESS the OLD Archive database starting on that date. The new Archive 3 server will begin its service of providing past-3-days data on January 21, 2018, only. Should you need data older than January 18, 2018, you will need to send a formal request to our Customer Relations Department for manual retrieval. So, if you need old records, you better start downloading them now.
Lastly, should you have any questions regarding the migration, please do not hesitate to call us thru our Hotline 311-3000, or send us a private message thru https://facebook.com/loadxtreme.official.
Thank you and more power to all of us this 2018!
Sincerely yours,
Ferdinand Allan Bengco
