On 19 March 2026, the Supply Group, AFPLSC successfully conducted a Gender and Development Seminar at the Supply Group Conference Room, Armed Forces of the Philippines, Camp General Emilio Aguinaldo, Quezon City.

The seminar featured insightful discussions on inclusivity, empowerment, and equality within the Armed Forces. A special highlight was the Marriage Enhancement lecture, which emphasized the vital role of strong family bonds in sustaining soldiers’ resilience, balance, and motivation. On 17 March 2026, the Supply Group, AFPLSC successfully conducted a Fire Safety Awareness Seminar at the Supply Group Conference Room, Armed Forces of the Philippines, Camp General Emilio Aguinaldo, Quezon City. The seminar was attended by 25 participants representing various sub-units of the AFP Logistics Support Command.

Conducting such seminars reflects adherence to safety standards and reinforces the discipline expected within the Armed Forces.

For the AFP Logistics Support Command, fire safety is directly tied to mission readiness. Preventing and controlling fire hazards ensures that vital supplies, equipment, and facilities remain secure and functional.

The Property Disposal Procedure Refresher Training was successfully conducted on November 20, 2025 at Supply Group Conference Room, Armed Forces of the Philippines, Camp General Emilio Aguinaldo, Quezon City, attended with 30 participants consist of different sub-units of AFP Logistics Support Command. The training commenced with an overview of recent updates to property disposal guidelines emphasizing relevant regulations and laws. Key areas included identification of disposal assets, documentation requirements and approved disposal methods.

The activity incorporated through lecture, interactive case studies, and question and answer sessions to enhance the understanding and application of the procedures. The training effectively reinforced best practices in property disposal, ensuring adherence to established protocols and minimizing potential risks of non-compliance.

Overall, the refresher training successfully updated the participants’ knowledge and skill on property disposal procedures that contributing to improve asset management and accountability within the organization.

The Change of Command was formally conducted on 16 October 2025 at the Supply Group Conference Room. The event commenced with the arrival of AFPLSC Commander, CAPT DARIO A YANTO JR PN (MNSA). The outgoing commander, CDR MARIE ANGELICA DC SISICAN PN (GSC) deliveredbher valedictory remarks, expressing her gratitude to the Officers, Enlisted Personnel, and Civilian Human Resource for their unwavering support and cooperation throughout her term of service. She highlighted the unit's accomplishments, emphasizing teamwork, discipline, and dedication as key factors in acgieving missiin success. The ceremony served as both a recognition of her leadership and a moment of transition for the unit.

Afterward, LTC PRINCESS BERNA P AQUINO PA (GSC) officially assumed commanf upon receiving the unit's color, signifying the formal transfer of authority and responsibility. In her acceptance speech, the incoming Group Commander expressed her commitment to continue the programs and initiatives established by her predecessor while striving for further improvement and operational excellence. The ceremony conclude with traditional salute between the outgoing and the incoming commanders, symbolizing respect, unity and continuity of leadership. On 06 October 2025 marks not just the end of a chapter, but the celebration of a life well-lived in service and dedication. This retirement ceremony is a tribute to Ms. Raquita G. Cortez a Civilian Human Resource of Supply Group, AFPLSC, whose years of hard work, perseverance, and commitment of 42 years and 7 months inspired everyone around. From the early days of challenges countless achievements along the way. She has shown what it trully means to oead with integrity, compassion, and purpose. As colleagues, friends, and family gathered, they are reminded of the moments that defined her journey - the laughter shared, the lessons learned, and the legacy built over time. As we look back, we do not see an ending, but rather the beginning of a new chapter - one filled with peace, joy, and fulfillment.

Retirement is not a farewell, but a gentle reminder that every season has its time, and every purpose its place. We honor not only Ms. Cortez's accomplishments but also the heart that made every task meaningful. May this new phase bring the rest, happiness, and adventures long deserved.
