We are not just enjoying holiday today, PH! Get to know what this day is all about. See as researched below!

👉"Kagitingan" translates to "valor" or "heroism" in English. It is also the name of the national holiday in the Philippines, "Araw ng Kagitingan," or "Day of Valor," which commemorates the surrender of Bataan in 1942.

👉"Kagitingan" signifies bravery, courage, and the spirit of heroism, particularly in the context of military or national struggles.

👉Araw ng Kagitingan: This national holiday, celebrated on April 9th, honors the Filipino and American soldiers who fought valiantly in Bataan during World War II.

👉Historical Significance: The day commemorates the surrender of Bataan to Japanese forces in 1942.

👋 I am dedicating this post to all business and project proposal-seekers and senders alike.

Creating proposal is like doing architectural and engineering works. We listen to client concerns and desires, ideate and build solutions, put them on paper (for documentation and contracting purposes) and deliver it with timeliness in response to seeking clients' timeline.

So imagine the pre-works (time, effort, energy, etc.) every proposal creator/sender invested, the first. And this is applicable in all industries.

Sadly, “ghosting” acts of proposal-seekers (after sending proposals) are real—for decades!

It has become an unhealthy yet trending professional practice to the point, we just let ourselves “read between the lines” that didn’t even exist at the start of the engagement.

I believe, I’m not the only professional who hopes things would get better, in time. Thus, I’m awakening everyone’s sense of professional accountability over leadership here.

Truth is, possible we exchange places (from proposal sender to seeker, or vice versa) as our business, career, or work progresses.

The digital channel email is created to defy space and time. So, let’s use that to connect as humane as we can be—while it’s still free! Who knows when, right?
