On September 2, 2026, personnel of the Quezon City District Anti-Cybercrime Team (QCDACT), under the supervision of PLTCOL Julius Erwin Espejo, Team Leader, served as Resource Speakers during the Seminar on Crime Prevention organized by the NAPOLCOM-NCR Office in celebration of the 32nd National Crime Prevention Week, held for college students of Our Lady of Fatima Universityโ€“Quezon City Campus.

During the activity, the personnel discussed Cyberbullying, including its various forms, possible effects on victims, preventive measures, responsible use of social media, and appropriate actions against online harassment and related incidents. The discussion emphasized the importance of responsible digital citizenship, online vigilance, and fostering a safe and respectful digital environment among students.

On September 2, 2026, personnel of the Regional Anti-Cybercrime Unit 1 (RACU 1), led by PCPT Sharmaine Jassie Labrado-Alapang, OIC, DFS, under the supervision of PCOL Greg T. Guerrero, Chief of RACU 1, delivered a lecture on โ€œNihilistic Violent Extremism, Cybercrime Awareness, and Cybersecurityโ€ to the teachers and Grade 12 students of La Union National High School.

The activity aimed to enhance the participantsโ€™ awareness and understanding of the nature and threats posed by Nihilistic Violent Extremism and cybercrime, while promoting the responsible and secure use of cyberspace. It also sought to equip the participants with practical knowledge on recognizing potential threats, protecting personal information and digital accounts, and adopting safe and responsible online practices.

In observance of the 32nd National Crime Prevention Week, the Rizal Provincial Cyber Response Team, led by PMAJ Eric C. Casabal, Team Leader, under the supervision of PCOL Jerry V. Empizo, Chief of RACU 4A, facilitated a lecture during the School Safety and Youth Crime Prevention Day, held at Muzon Elementary School, Brgy. Muzon, Taytay, Rizal, on September 2, 2026.

The activity was attended by school personnel and students and aimed to strengthen awareness on school safety, youth crime prevention, online safety, and the responsible use of digital platforms, while promoting collective action toward safer communities.

On September 2, 2026, personnel of the Quezon Provincial Cyber Response Team, led by PCPT Edwin A. Sapungan, Team Leader, under the supervision of PCOL Jerry V. Empizo, Chief of RACU 4A, delivered a lecture on Cybercrime Awareness for Senior High School students of Quezon National High School in Brgy. Ibabang Iyam, Lucena City.

The activity aimed to enhance the cyber literacy of the students and raise their awareness of common online threats, including cybercrime, online scams, cyberbullying, nihilistic beliefs, and digitally amplified pessimism. The lecture emphasized the importance of staying vigilant against online threats, practicing responsible digital citizenship, and adopting safe and responsible online practices to help protect themselves from cybercrime and other emerging digital risks.
