๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐: FCF Minerals Corporation employees headed by General Manager for Operations, Lorne Harvey, Runruno Barangay Officials headed by Hon. John Babli-ing, Punong Barangay, members of the Social Development and Management Program- Technical Working Group (SDMP-TWG); school heads, teaching staff and students of Runruno National High School, Runruno Elementary School, Dumaliguia Elementary School and Cabinuangan Elementary School, and residents of Runruno during the turn-over and blessing ceremony of the newly constructed Barangay Runruno Covered Court, morning of August 7,2026.
The construction of the 62 million covered court SDMP project started in September 2022 and completed in May 2026. In his message, Hon. Babli-ing, expressed his gratitude to the company for all the support given to them and for funding such project. He stated that without the support of the company, they will not be able to establish their covered court as its fund was solely sourced from FCF Mineralsโ SDMP. He also explained why the building incurred such cost and reminded everyone that the project is for the benefit of the community and represents the legacy the company will leave behind upon its closure.
The activity was also attended by Atty. Timothy Cayton, Representative Lone District of Nueva Vizcaya, duly represented by Ms. Evelyn Mariano; Hon. Anabelle Mae Binwag, Quezon Municipal Mayor, represented by Ms. Ana Paulino and Hon. Jimmy Rafael, Quezon Sangguniang Bayan Member. They commended FCFโs contribution not just in Runruno, but in all its impact communities and the whole province. They all expressed gratitude and stated that it will be a very big adjustment for them when the company end its operations this year.
On the other hand, Runruno Information Center was also turned over along with the covered court however, full assumption of the responsibility will start by January 2027.
