RETURNING OFWS 🇵🇭✈️🌏
Step-by-Step Guide for Returning OFWs (Balik-Manggagawa):
1. Secure Your Valid Documents
✅Valid passport
✅Work visa or residence permit
✅Employment contract
✅Overseas Employment Certificate (OEC) or exemption
✅Airline ticket
✅Vaccination card (if required by your destination country)
2. Process Your OEC or OEC Exemption
✅Log in to DMW e-Registration
✅Returning to the same employer/job site → You may qualify for OEC exemption
✅If you’re changing employer or job site → Schedule an appointment at DMW
3. Go to the Airport Early
✅Arrive at least 3–4 hours before your flight
✅Proceed to the OFW lanes at the check-in counter
4. Present Documents at Immigration
✅Valid passport
✅Visa or residence ID
✅OEC or exemption
✅Proof of employment (contract or company ID)
5. Terminal Fee & Travel Tax
✅OFWs are exempt from paying
✅If charged, claim a refund at the travel tax refund counter (show OEC)
6. Proceed to Security & Boarding
✅Go through final security check
✅Head to your assigned boarding gate

✔ Keep printed & digital copies of all documents
✔ Arrive early to avoid delays
✔ Save contact info of the Philippine Embassy / POLO in your destination country
