This story is soooo heartwarming 🥺
I've been selling books to a bazaar held in our subdivision. We can place our products on the floor for free. I've been doing this for 3-4 weeks now every Saturdays and Sundays.
Yesterday, this man came up to me checking out the kids books. It feels like he wanted to buy but thinking if he can afford it. So, I led him to the books that I sell for only 20 pesos.
He picked up 2 paperbacks and 1 small board book. He asked if he can get those 3 for 50, and I said yes. As I packed the books, he told me to wait for his kid and ask me to gave it to her.
Him: Halika! May bibigay si Ate sayo oh...
Then, I gave the books and smiled.
Him: Yan binigyan ka ni Ate ng books basahin mo yan ah...
The kids smile is soooo heartwarming, plus her Dad's gesture is so pure. He didn't even said he bought it for her.
Him: Magthank you ka kay Ate binigyan ka ng books
Kid: Thank you!
I just smiled, I can't seem to talk because of how cute and heartwarming this interaction. 🥺
A few minutes later....
I go to the near convenience store to buy us some dinner before we pack up from the bazaar.
I saw them again ....
The kid is requesting to buy some more books, while the dad keep saying that she should finish reading the books first.
What I didn't know....
They came back to our spot, and told my sister that they'll be back...
I do hope that they'll be back, I wanted to give them more books for free. ❤️
This is one of the untold stories of parents, trying to make their kids happy with all their might. 🥺❤️
Happy Father's Day! ❤️
