#𝗟𝗼𝗴𝗼𝗟𝗲𝗴𝗮𝗰𝘆 — Your brand’s identity should evolve with your business, not hold it back. 𝘼𝙢𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙣 𝘼𝙞𝙧𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙨’ 2013 logo served its time, but in a fast-changing world, it lacked the bold presence a leading airline needs.

𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝘾𝙝𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙣𝙜𝙚: The existing logo felt outdated and disconnected from the brand’s rich legacy. It needed a refresh that honored its history while embracing the future.

𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙏𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙨𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙢𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣: I reintroduced the classic blue and red colors to restore brand recognition and trust. The eagle silhouette in the ‘A’ subtly reinforces strength and American pride. By using two stacked geometric shapes, the new ‘A’ creates a bold, modern look that signals progress and innovation.

𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙄𝙢𝙥𝙖𝙘𝙩: A refined, timeless logo that positions American Airlines as a brand ready for the future—without losing the identity that made it iconic.

From creative intern to junior creative in 4 months.

Here are the key lessons YOU can apply to your own journey.

Four months ago,
I jumped into social media and video content creation with a graphic design background...

but little experience in these areas.

Now, as a junior creative,
here’s what I’ve picked up along the way:

➔ Hook Copy is Everything

A scroll-stopping hook is non-negotiable.
Make it short, punchy, and tailored to your audience’s needs to grab attention and keep them engaged.

➔ Trends Move Fast

Social media design evolves quickly.
Staying inspired means keeping up with blogs, platforms, and trend reports.

➔ Plan First, Edit Smarter

Good editing starts before you hit record.
Clean setups, clear direction, and smooth workflows make the final cut polished and on-brand.

These past months have been full of learning curves, creative wins, and new skills.

If you're starting out, my advice?
↳ Just go for it—you’ll learn as you go.

Introducing the 𝘽𝙎𝘾𝙎 𝘿𝙚𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙎𝙝𝙞𝙧𝙩 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝘼𝙔 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒-𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓. As a former BSCS student at Capiz State University - MSC, I’m excited to leave my creative mark with this year’s official department shirt!

This shirt is all about merging tech vibes with bold, standout design. On one side, you’ve got the 𝙫𝙞𝙗𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙩 𝙮𝙚𝙡𝙡𝙤𝙬 showcasing the "𝗕𝗦𝗖𝗦" pride, while the other half dives deep into a 𝙨𝙡𝙚𝙚𝙠 𝙣𝙖𝙫𝙮-𝙗𝙡𝙪𝙚 𝙢𝙖𝙩𝙧𝙞𝙭 𝙥𝙖𝙩𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙣, a nod to the code we live and breathe. And that 𝙟𝙖𝙜𝙜𝙚𝙙 𝙚𝙙𝙜𝙚? It’s all about the challenges we face and the breakthroughs we make in the world of Computer Science.

From student to creative, it’s been a journey, and I couldn’t be more excited to see this shirt worn by the next generation of coders!
