DTI–Mountain Province, through Negosyo Center Sagada, conducted a Seminar on Innovation in Employee Training and Development (An Introduction to General Labor Standards) on March 10, 2026, aimed at equipping local micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) with knowledge on general labor standards and labor regulations.

Serving as the resource speaker was Mr. David Damoyan, Senior Labor and Employment Officer from the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), who shared valuable insights on key labor standards and regulations to help MSMEs ensure compliance with existing labor laws.

The seminar gathered local entrepreneurs and MSMEs who actively participated in the discussions held at Chow Restaurant, Patay, Sagada.

The activity forms part of DTI’s continuing efforts to provide capacity-building programs that assist MSMEs in understanding and complying with labor standards while promoting responsible and sustainable business practices.

Through its Negosyo Centers, DTI–Mountain Province continues to support the growth and sustainability of local enterprises by delivering relevant programs and services for MSMEs.
