“He Sees You”
Scripture: Jesus said, “I saw you while you were still under the fig tree before Philip called you.” Then Nathanael declared, “Rabbi, you are the Son of God!” – John 1:48–49

Nathanael was shocked. Jesus not only knew him but saw him in a way no one else could. What happened under that fig tree was likely private, maybe a prayer or a moment of seeking God.

That one line from Jesus "I saw you" was more than just knowing Nathanael’s location. It was Jesus revealing that He knows our hearts, our questions, our quiet cries, our thoughts even when no one else does.

Nathanael’s immediate faith reminds us:
One encounter with Jesus, who truly sees you, can change everything.

Pride is dangerous because it can enter our hearts quietly. When we always want praise, feel important, or want to have our own way, we slowly push God out of our lives.

But the Bible says, “God is against the proud, but He gives grace to the humble.” (James 4:6)

Being humble does not mean thinking you are weak or bad. It means you think of yourself less and put God first. When we choose humility, God helps us, gives us strength, and lifts us up at the right time.

Today, choose to be humble.

1. Remember that everything you have comes from God.

2. Ask God to change your heart and help you be humble.

3. Trust His plan, because His time is always perfect.

Reflection:

Am I looking for praise from others?
Where do I need to let go of pride and ask God for help?

“Kapag naging ugali mo ang pasasalamat, naaapektuhan pati ang pananalita mo. Mas napapansin mo ang mabubuti, at hindi mo na pinalalaki ang mga problema.”

Ang puso na puno ng pasasalamat ay nagbubunga ng mga salitang may pag-asa at kabutihan. Kapag nasanay tayong magpasalamat, nababago ang pananaw natin. Hindi na tayo agad nagrereklamo, kundi natututo tayong pahalagahan kahit ang maliliit na biyaya.

Hindi mo na sasabihing, “Ang gulo ng araw ko,” kundi, “Salamat, Lord, sa lakas at biyaya kahit may pagsubok.”

Ang pasasalamat ay panangga laban sa negatibong pag-iisip. Ito ay paalala na kahit sa gitna ng problema, may Diyos tayong maaasahan.
