INTERNAL CONTROL TRAINING FOR COOPERATIVES & COOPERATIVE ENTERPRISE DEVELOPMENT TRAINING
The Internal Control Training for Cooperatives & Cooperative Enterprise Development Training, conducted by the Cooperative Development Authority (CDA) – MIMAROPA under the Cooperative Founding, Institutional Development, and Performance (CFIDP) Program, was successfully held on June 30 to July 2, 2026, at Magsaysay Hillside Resort, Magsaysay, Occidental Mindoro.
The three-day training aimed to strengthen the knowledge and competencies of cooperative officers, management staff, and members in establishing and maintaining effective internal control systems while enhancing their skills in cooperative enterprise development. The sessions emphasized transparency, accountability, risk management, good governance, and sustainable business practices to improve the overall performance and resilience of cooperatives.
Participants actively engaged in lectures, workshops, group discussions, and practical exercises facilitated by resource persons from CDA–MIMAROPA. The training also provided a valuable platform for participants to exchange experiences, share best practices, and build stronger networks among cooperatives in the region.
Through this initiative, CDA–MIMAROPA reaffirmed its commitment to empowering cooperatives by equipping them with the necessary knowledge and skills to promote sound governance, operational efficiency, and sustainable enterprise growth in support of the cooperative sector's continued development.
