Weddings are generally beautiful. But what makes it unforgettable is the story behind the couples about to wed. Chester and Regina are wonderful examples of godly couples pursuing Christlikeness.

I love how their journey together aims to honor God above all.

The groom is 's bestfriend. I was there as his plus one. A little story lang...

It was the first time that I met the newly weds. (Kind awkward for a first time meeting- sa wedding pa nila!) Hahaha. But it was great. I am honored to witness their union and hear their vows.

I told my poging fiancé that the last wedding party I attended was Dec 2018. It's been a year na din since I witness a loving atmosphere kaya I'm so kilig. Anyway, this is a post wedding kwento.

Year End Post.

I never been so intentionally productive in my work for the past five years until remote work came to place.

I saw it as a business- a thriving and profitable one.

As I look back- I had a feeling of something missing because I felt like I didn't give much of my time for ministry or what I call "work for the Lord" but I'm glad that find a better perspective to view this.

I went to Touch of Glory Prayer Mountain last Dec 28.

📍 I unplugged
📍 I reflected
📍 I sought guidance
📍 I prayed

Inside that prayer cell, I scan through my 2019 journal and realised that I have been writing to God for...

😭HELP
😭FORGIVENESS
😭THANKSGIVING
😭DESIRE TO GLORIFY HIM

Summary na yan ah.

Along the journey of God was there. And while reflecting- I realized that my work has been my act of worship. I was limited by my definition of "Work for God" na it always have to be done within the premise of church.

I realised that our DAILY LIVES which comprises our:

📍Family relationship
📍 Relationship with our significant other
📍 friendship
📍 Work / Career
📍 Our way of managing finances
📍 Our decisions
📍 Our words, thought-life and
📍 day-to-day lives

Are the "works for God" to make him fully known through our lives.

THUS, MY 2019 HAS BEEN AN ACT OF WORSHIP DESPITE ALL MY SHORTCOMINGS.

ITO ANG TAON WHERE GOD PROVED HIS FAITHFULNESS IN THE MIDST OF MY UNFAITHFULNESS.

Sa kabila ng missed quite moments, prayers and seeking, hindi nag based si God sa PERFORMANCE KO. MAHAL NYA AKO O TAYO DESPITE AND INSPITE OF.

Naniniwala akong priority natin ang Diyos above everything else. Hindi lang remembering God- it's prioritising God in whatever we do.

Tested and proven na yan- when we acknowledge God in all our ways, expect excellence.

With that, as we end 2019 and open 2020:

"IN ALL YOUR WAYS SUBMIT TO GOD AND HE WILL MAKE YOUR PATHS STRAIGHT" (proverbs 3:6)

I'm supposed to be behind the curtain, I did not plan being on stage.

It's already overwhelming to manage the pre-event production and on the day prod- but when the team told me to do the last panel interview of the CEO and founders of outsourcing agencies hiring homebased professionals, freelancers and remote workers, I immediately jump off my feet!

It's a moment that I would never miss!

These people has been changing thousands of Filipino lives, giving opportunities to earn dollars without leaving the motherland.
