My last face-to-face training for 2025
From the Philippines 🇵🇭
– - I’m grateful to have concluded my final in-person training for 2025 with KIRIN RESOURCES INC. (KRI) for their ISO 19011:2018 Internal Auditor Training – a comprehensive two-day program.

The atmosphere at KRI was truly inspiring. Their facilities were beautifully decorated with Christmas lanterns and décor made from scrap and recycled materials, and you could really feel the joy and energy of the season. That same positivity was reflected in the participants—everyone was engaged, open-minded, and willing to challenge old practices while exploring updated issues in the auditing process.

Some highlights from the session:
• Active discussions on real audit scenarios
• Energetic and collaborative group exercises
• Constructive sharing of experiences and best practices

One of the most meaningful pieces of feedback from the group was:
“We learned so much, the exercises were engaging, and we appreciate the importance of using real audit situations.”

A Night of Spectacle: A Milestone for Vox Humana Technological College Inc.

- Proud to celebrate Vox Humana Technological College Inc. on its official ISO 21001:2018 certification — Educational Organizations Management System (EOMS) — under TÜV SÜD PSB Philippines, Inc., making it the first Philippine Technical-Vocational Institution (TVI) to receive this recognition.

Our thanks to Ms. Jogie Codinera of TÜV SÜD PSB Philippines, Inc. for delivering the affirmation, to Director Alvin L. Yturralde of TESDA for gracing the event as keynote speaker, and to the faculty, staff, industry partners, and students whose commitment made this possible.

As Managing Consultant of Qualitex Management Consultancy (QMC), I was honored to support VHTCI through this journey and share an inspirational message during the celebration.
Story: From day one, we chose the standard that best serves learners—pivoting from ISO 9001 to ISO 21001—and built a system anchored on outcomes and evidence.

Key improvements we achieved together:
• A clean, welcoming reception area that reflects pride and professionalism
• Robust records control with clear filing, retrieval, and retention
• Mapped academic and support processes with roles and interfaces defined
• Learner-centered objectives, monitored by data and feedback
• Risk-based thinking embedded in planning and operations
• Purposeful training, internal audits, and management reviews

Momentum dipped mid-journey, but consistent communication brought the team back in sync. Special kudos to VHTCI VP for Academics Arman Viloria, Jr. for setting the tone for discipline and follow-through, GM Jomar Esperanza for mobilizing teams and driving completion and President Junil Rendorio for hands-on, inspiring engagement across departments

By audit day, Vox Humana had a living EOMS—engaged leadership, coherent processes, and evidence-based decisions. Findings were addressed swiftly and constructively.

Result: ISO 21001:2018 certification achieved.

This is more than a certificate; it’s a cultural shift—from ad hoc to aligned, from clutter to clarity, from effort to outcomes—centered on learners and the community. It enhances competitiveness, strengthens stakeholder confidence, and creates a sustainable platform for continuous improvement.

- In the competitive world of construction, being the first to innovate can set you apart.

Eddmari Construction and Trading (ECT) company is blazing a trail by preparing to become the first construction company in San Luis, Pampanga, to achieve certification in an Integrated Management System. This includes ISO 9001 Quality Management System, alongside ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management System and ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health & Safety Management System.

By taking proactive steps, ECT is positioning itself at the forefront of sustainability and safety. This forward-thinking approach ensures the protection of both their business and their people.

The journey towards certification involves rigorous documentation processes, hazard identification, and risk assessments related to health, safety, and environmental impact.

ECT's leadership and employees are fully committed to this transformation, guided by their project theme: "Green and Safe, We Lead the Way!" and is ambitiously aiming to achieve Third-Party Certification by November 2025.

Both CEMENTAID PHILIPPINES INC. (CAPI) and T. SOLOMON CONSTRUCTION AND DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION (TSCDC) have achieved their ISO 9001 QMS certifications. CAPI aced their 1st Surveillance Audit, while TSCDC passed their Certification Audit, both under the esteemed TUV SUD PSB Philippines Inc.

: Located in San Pedro, Laguna, CAPI specializes in the manufacturing of Concrete Control Compounds for Waterproofing and providing Technical Support Services for Waterproofing Projects.

: Based in Tanauan, Batangas, TSCDC is a leader in the construction industry, renowned for handling projects in Road and Highway Pavement, Railways, Bridges, Irrigation and Flood Control, Water Supply, Dam, Port and Harbor, Building, and Industrial Plant.

- YAMAHA's key leaders recently completed a two-day ISO 19011 Internal Auditor’s Training and examination conducted by Qualitex Management Consultancy at the YMPH Admin Hall on July 3 & 4. The level of participation was truly inspiring, showcasing their collective commitment to excellence.

"Embarking on our ISO 9001 journey was no small feat, with many of our Process Owners initially finding it challenging to align with the implementation process. However, through consistent collaboration with our dedicated consultants and the QMS Team, we saw remarkable progress. Teamwork truly made the dream work", said by Angelito Martinez, Yamaha Motor Philippines Inc. - General Manager QA/QE Department/ Corporate DQMR.

A total of 57 key leaders participated in the training and immediately took their Internal Audit examination! This achievement sets a robust foundation as they prepare for the upcoming stages, including 1st Internal Audit, Management Review, and the exciting Stage 1 and Final Certification Audit scheduled for October 2025.
