EMI Extends Rice Assistance to Tubo-Tubo South

Eramen Minerals, Inc. (EMI) extended rice assistance to 1,020 families in Brgy. Tubo-Tubo South, Sta. Cruz, Zambales, affected by the recent heavy rains and adverse weather conditions. Each family received 10 kilograms of rice to help support their immediate food needs.

The assistance was provided through the Social Development and Management Program (SDMP) of Barangay Tubo-Tubo South, in coordination with the barangay officials.

This initiative reflects EMI’s continuing commitment to community resilience, responsible mining, and sustainable development, while supporting SDG 2 – Zero Hunger and SDG 11 – Sustainable Cities and Communities.

Strengthening Communities Through Timely Assistance

Eramen Minerals, Inc. (EMI) has extended relief assistance to four (4) barangays in Sta. Cruz, Zambales affected by heavy rains and inclement weather, providing essential support to families during this challenging period.

Funded through the Social Development and Management Program (SDMP) of the respective barangays, the initiative reflects EMI’s commitment to responsible mining, community development, and resilience, in support of SDG 2: Zero Hunger and SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities.

The four barangays - Guinabon, Lucapon North, Bulawon, and Sabang - are part of the first phase of EMI’s relief pack distribution in response to the impacts of recent weather conditions. Additional communities will be covered in the succeeding weeks as EMI continues to coordinate with local leaders and stakeholders to address immediate needs and strengthen community preparedness.

Eramen Minerals Inc. (EMI), in partnership with the PhilHealth Local Health Insurance Office (LHIO) Iba, Zambales, conducted a PhilHealth Orientation for its employees on the Universal Health Care (UHC) and YAKAP (Yaman ng Kalusugan) Programs.

The activity provided updates on PhilHealth membership, benefits, and primary healthcare services. Employees also received assistance with YAKAP registration, member record updates, and PhilHealth ID applications, ensuring better access to essential healthcare services.
