Emotions at Work: 10 Key Points, One Bigger Message

Emotions are an essential part of the workplace. They influence how employees think, communicate, behave, decide, collaborate, and perform.

From emotional intelligence and emotional regulation to leadership, emotional labor, workplace culture, and emotional contagion, the findings show that individual emotions can become collective workplace experiences.

Ultimately, organizations that understand and manage emotions effectively can build healthier relationships, stronger teams, better performance, and more sustainable workplaces.

Because workplaces are not just made of tasks and systems—they are made of people, and people have emotions.
