Dahil naka-leave ang ating Punong Bayan Mayor Omeng Ramos, sinususpinde ni Vice Mayor Obet Perez ang klase sa lahat ng antas sa mga Pampubliko at Pribadong Paaralan bukas, August 11, 2026 sa kanyang kapasidad bilang OIC o Officer-In-Charge ngayong araw. Ito ay batay sa rekomendasyon ng MDRRMC Santa Maria.

Ang suspensyon ay bilang pag-iingat sa kaligtasan ng mga mag-aaral bunsod ng posibleng patuloy na masamang lagay ng panahon.

Hinihikayat ang mga paaralan na magpatupad ng Alternative Delivery Modes (ADM) para sa pagpapatuloy ng pagkatuto ng mga mag-aaral.

Pinapayuhan ang lahat na manatiling ligtas, maging alerto sa mga opisyal na abiso, at patuloy na subaybayan ang mga susunod na weather updates.

PRO3'S SWIFT INVESTIGATION LEADS TO VOLUNTARY SURRENDER OF ALLEGED MASTERMIND IN SANTA MARIA SHOOTING CASE

Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga — The prompt and relentless investigation conducted by the Santa Maria Municipal Police Station resulted in a significant development in the fatal shooting of a former barangay secretary and teacher, as the individual implicated in the case voluntarily surrendered to authorities on Saturday, August At about 5:30 PM, the person implicated in the case voluntarily surrendered at the Santa Maria Municipal Police Station after learning that he had allegedly been identified by the victim before his death.
The victim, Stephen "Gelo" Pagmanua Enriquez, 38, a former Barangay Secretary and teacher, later succumbed to the gunshot wounds he sustained in the incident. According to investigators, the victim allegedly made a dying declaration while receiving medical treatment, identifying the person he believed to be responsible for the shooting. Acting on this crucial lead, investigators immediately intensified case build-up, evidence gathering, and documentation, leading to the voluntary surrender of the implicated individual. Investigators are now completing the documentary requirements and consolidate the available evidence for the filing of a Murder complaint before the Office of the Provincial Prosecutor in the City of Malolos, Bulacan.

Police Regional Office 3 Director PBGEN Jess B. Mendez lauded the responding police officers and investigators for their professionalism and dedication in the conduct of the investigation.
"This development reflects the commitment of our police personnel to conduct swift, impartial, and evidence-based investigations. We remain resolute in ensuring that justice is served while upholding the rule of law and respecting the rights of all parties involved. Guided by our commitment to 'Serbisyong Mabilis, Tapat, at Nararamdaman,' PRO3 will continue working tirelessly to protect our communities and strengthen public trust in the Philippine National Police," PBGEN Mendez said.
The Police Regional Office 3 assured the public that the investigation remains ongoing and that all legal processes will be undertaken in accordance with due process. PRO3 likewise encourages continued cooperation from the community, recognizing that strong police-public partnership is essential in the pursuit of justice and the preservation of peace and order throughout Central Luzon.
