ANO ANG NET METERING?

Ang net metering ay isang sistema na nagpapahintulot sa mga may-ari ng solar panels na ibenta ang kanilang sobrang kuryente pabalik sa grid, na nagbibigay-daan upang mabawasan o ma-offset ang kuryenteng binabayaran sa utility company. Sa ilalim ng Renewable Energy Act of 2008 (RA 9513), ang mga sistemang hanggang 100kWp ay maaaring ikonekta sa grid.

Mga Pangunahing Punto ng Net Metering:

⚡Paano Ito Gumagana:
Ang sobra-sobrang enerhiya na hindi nagamit sa bahay ay dumadaloy pabalik sa distribution network (gaya ng MERALCO, SFELAPCO o PELCO etc).
⚡Energy Credits: Ang sobrang kuryenteng na-export ay nagiging credits sa iyong bill na magagamit sa mga oras na hindi nag-gegenerate ng kuryente ang solar (gabi o maulap na panahon).
⚡Bidirectional Meter: Kailangan ng espesyal na meter na nagtatala kung gaano karaming kuryente ang kinuha mo sa grid at kung gaano karami ang ibinalik mo.
⚡Benepisyo: Nababawasan ang buwanang bill sa kuryente at mas nagiging episyente ang paggamit ng renewable energy.
