A termite clue is only the beginning. Don't stop there.

A mud tube, damaged wood, moisture, or termite activity is only a clue—not the complete diagnosis.

At A&B Professional Pest Solutions Corp., we look beyond the first finding. Our technicians assess visible evidence, moisture conditions, structural vulnerabilities, possible entry points, and hidden activity to understand what is really happening.

Tools like iTraker can provide additional information, but professional interpretation is what turns inspection findings into the right solution.

Because effective termite control starts with understanding where termites are, how they got there, and what is allowing the problem to continue.

See the signs? Let our experts investigate what’s behind them.

High-Occupancy Buildings Need Smarter Pest Management

Offices, hotels, schools, healthcare facilities, restaurants, warehouses, and residential buildings face complex pest risks due to constant movement, shared spaces, food, waste, moisture, and structural entry points.
Treating only where pests are seen may not solve the source.

At A&B Professional Pest Solutions, we assess the contributing factors, identify entry and movement pathways, and develop practical solutions through inspection, monitoring, exclusion, targeted treatment, and follow-up.

Because effective pest control starts with understanding the problem—not just treating the symptom.

👉 Discover how professional pest management can help protect high-occupancy properties.

High-occupancy buildings—including offices, hotels, apartment complexes, schools, hospitals, shopping centers, restaurants, warehouses, and mixed-use developments—face pest management challenges that are very different from those of single-family homes or low-traffic properties. Termites can cause serious damage long before they become visible.

Hollow-sounding wood, mud tubes, excess moisture, and unexplained wood damage may indicate hidden activity—but surface signs alone cannot reveal the full extent of the problem.

At A&B Professional Pest Solutions, we combine professional inspection, structural assessment, actual site evidence, and iTraker detection technology to help locate areas of concern and recommend the appropriate solution.

Don’t wait until the damage becomes extensive and costly.

The Treatment History Matters

A termite inspection does not begin with what we see today. It begins with understanding what has happened before.

Previous termite treatments can significantly influence what a technician observes during a new assessment. Chemical treatments, baiting programs, localized repairs, drilling and injection, soil treatments, or previous monitoring may have reduced visible activity without completely eliminating the underlying conditions that allowed the infestation to develop.

That is why professional assessment requires more than simply checking whether termites are currently visible.

At A&B Professional Pest Solutions, our technicians consider the property's treatment history when interpreting inspection findings. Previous interventions can help explain:

🔎 Changes in termite activity
A previously treated area may show reduced or intermittent activity. This does not automatically mean the entire colony has been eliminated.

💧 Moisture and environmental conditions
If moisture problems remain after treatment, the same area may continue to provide favorable conditions for termite activity.

🏠 Structural vulnerabilities
Previous treatments may have addressed an active area while other entry points, concealed pathways, or structural weaknesses remain.

📍 Changes in activity location
When one area becomes less favorable following treatment, termite activity may appear elsewhere. This makes understanding the property's treatment history essential when interpreting new findings.

📊 Monitoring and treatment response
Past inspection records, bait consumption, activity patterns, and treatment results can provide valuable evidence about how the infestation has responded over time.

🧠 Professional interpretation
Detection technology can provide important clues, but those clues must be interpreted alongside the property's history, construction, moisture conditions, treatment records, and technician observations.

A previous treatment is not simply a record of what was done—it is part of the evidence used to determine what should happen next.

This is where professional expertise makes a difference. A&B Professional Pest Solutions evaluates the whole situation, rather than treating every inspection as if it were the first one.

Because effective termite management is not about repeatedly treating the same problem.

It is about understanding the problem, measuring the response, identifying what remains, and making informed decisions for the next step.

Previous treatment or not, every property deserves a properly interpreted termite assessment!

Pest Management Is More Than Treatment—It’s Decision-Making.

A pest sighting is only a clue. Effective pest management requires understanding why pests are present, where activity originates, and what conditions are supporting it.

Professional technicians assess pest behavior, sanitation, moisture, structural vulnerabilities, access points, treatment history, and monitoring results before deciding on the right intervention.

At A&B Professional Pest Solutions, we focus on addressing the conditions behind pest activity—not simply treating what is visible.

Technology provides clues. Professional judgment turns those clues into action.

👉 Learn more about the importance of professional judgment in pest management.

Effective pest management is not simply about identifying a pest and applying a treatment. The most important part of a successful pest management program is often something that cannot be seen in a photograph or measured by a piece of equipment: professional judgment.

Why Mosquitoes Keep Coming Back After Spraying

Spraying can reduce the number of adult mosquitoes you see—but if the conditions supporting their breeding remain, the problem can quickly return.

One of the most common misconceptions about mosquito control is that a single spraying treatment will permanently eliminate mosquitoes. In reality, spraying primarily targets adult mosquitoes that are present at the time of treatment. It does not necessarily remove the eggs, larvae, pupae, or the environmental conditions that allow the next generation to develop.

What Causes Mosquitoes to Return?

1. Hidden Breeding Sites Remain
Mosquitoes can reproduce in surprisingly small amounts of stagnant water. Plant saucers, clogged gutters, floor drains, discarded containers, roof areas, buckets, tarpaulins, and other water-holding objects can become breeding sites.

2. Eggs Can Survive Until Conditions Are Right
Some mosquito eggs can remain in suitable locations and hatch when water becomes available. This means that eliminating adult mosquitoes without addressing breeding areas may only provide temporary relief.

3. New Mosquitoes Can Enter the Property
Even after treatment, mosquitoes from surrounding properties, drainage areas, vegetation, or nearby stagnant water sources can move into the treated area.

4. Moisture and Poor Drainage Encourage Breeding
Areas where rainwater accumulates or drainage is slow can continuously provide mosquitoes with suitable breeding conditions—especially during the rainy season.

5. Treatment Alone Is Not Enough
Effective mosquito management requires more than simply reducing adult mosquitoes. A stronger approach combines inspection, source reduction, environmental management, monitoring, and appropriately selected treatments based on the conditions found at the property.

Effective Mosquito Control Starts With Finding the Source

If mosquitoes repeatedly return after spraying, the question should not only be “What can we spray?”

It should be:

“Where are they coming from, and what is allowing them to keep reproducing?”

A professional inspection can help identify potential breeding areas, harborage conditions, water accumulation, drainage problems, and other contributing factors. Once these sources are identified, control measures can be targeted more effectively.

Remember:

Spraying reduces the immediate mosquito population.
Source reduction helps prevent the next population.
Professional monitoring helps determine whether control measures are working.

If mosquitoes keep returning after treatment, don't simply repeat the same treatment without investigating the cause.

Protect your home. Protect your workplace. Reduce mosquito risks at the source.
