𝗘𝗻𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿 𝗽𝗮𝘆𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘄𝗮𝗴𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗻 𝗗𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘆𝘀 – 𝗗𝗢𝗟𝗘

The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) reminded private-sector employers to observe the proper payment of wages for the declared regular holidays and special (non-working) day in December.

DOLE Secretary Bienvenido E. Laguesma issued Labor Advisory No. 26, Series of 2023, which prescribes the proper computation of workers’ wages for the regular holidays on December 25 and 30, and the special (non-working) day on December 31.

The issuance is pursuant to Proclamation No. 90, declaring the regular holidays and special (non-working) days for 2023.
