Santiagueña Heirloom Products now have a dedicated space where their stories, traditions, and flavors can reach more consumers following the opening of the OTOP Hub at Santiago Public Market 1 on August 19.

The hub was inaugurated through a ribbon-cutting ceremony, highlighting a selection of food and local products passed down through generations and made from all-natural ingredients. These products reflect the traditions and identity of Santiagueños while providing local producers with an avenue to showcase their creations.

Mayor Atty. Sheena P. Tan attended the ceremony and expressed support for initiatives that promote locally made products and strengthen livelihood opportunities in the city.

Through the OTOP Hub, the City Government aims to increase awareness and appreciation of Santiagueño-made products while helping local producers reach a wider market. The initiative also encourages consumers to discover, support, and patronize products rooted in the city’s local heritage.
