RBV Farms is a family corporation that has been in the Tree Farming business in Surigao del Sur for more than 30 years. Just this 2012, it took over operations of a 6.5 hectare banana farm in the good fertile soil and favorable climate of Sto. RBV Farms assumed management of these abandoned Banana farms from former contractors of Multinational banana companies. With success and progressive farm op
erations, more individual growers are offering their private land to RBV Farms to manage. Expertise on growing trees especially bananas is inherent within the staff and worker. The management team are knowledgeable, experienced and adequately in the laboratory and field. Continuous Research and development and latest technology are practiced on the farm from planting to harvesting and packaging. As the team supports and adhere to a sustainable Earth, synthetic or chemicals are minimized but instead more organic and low-chemical solutions are applied. RBV Farms has also started into low-chem / organic vegetable farming. For a start, a small plot of low-chemical table tomatoes in the cool and rich soils of Eden, Toril, Davao City is being started. RBV Farms also market fresh produce like tomatoes, peanuts, corn, high value crops and fruits like guapple from individual farms from different regions in Mindanao.
