As a talent acquisition specialist, I've reviewed many applications from candidates and I'd like to share some reasons why the application gets rejected in the initial screening/review.

📍 Irrelevant work experience and skills
📍 No email content or a short cover letter indicating the position they're applying for.
📍 Failure to follow the instructions indicated in the job post.
📍 Resume/CV is not presentable, and disorganized (different fonts, inconsistent formatting, missing photo, too many details).

These are small factors but it matters.
