π€ DID YOU KNOW? π€
It is said by the International Chamber of Shipping and the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development, or UNCTAD, that the volume of global trading in the maritime industry has reached over 11.2 billion tons in 2023. The said volume is expected to increase within the next four years. This maritime trading includes all of the goods that we use in our daily lives, such as manufactured goods, electronics, oil, and even raw materials.
The transportation of goods via ships, or what we call maritime transportation, is considered the backbone of international trade. These are all goods that are transported across all seas. It also has different sectors for the services that are being used for transportation, and these are bulk shipping, container shipping, tanker, and roll-on/roll-off or Ro-Ro. Thankfully, maritime transportation has not been affected by the misery that COVID-19 brought. The transportation of all goods continued to operate despite the hardships that the world experienced and has been standing steadily until today as it continues to make global commerce flow.

We are, actually, in awe that we are a small part of this global flow as we are one of the many suppliers in the whole country that are able to provide good quality safety products for our seafarers. ππ’
