✨ ACGACC 2nd General Assembly Highlights ✨

The Aldersgate College General Alumni Credit Cooperative (ACGACC) successfully conducted its 2nd General Assembly last March 28, 2026, bringing together members in a meaningful gathering centered on unity, collaboration, and shared purpose.

With the theme “Empowering Alumni, Enriching Lives: Serbisyong Tapat, Kinabukasang Panatag,” the event served as a platform to present key updates, strengthen cooperative engagement, and deepen financial awareness among members.

The assembly was further enriched by the presence of the resource speaker, Ms. Betty N. Ramos, CPA, MBA, who was warmly welcomed by the participants. She shared valuable insights on financial responsibility, cooperative values, and the importance of active member participation, inspiring members to remain engaged and committed to the cooperative’s continued growth and sustainability.

The gathering was marked by active participation, insightful discussions, and a renewed commitment to uphold the principles of cooperation and service. It also became an avenue to celebrate milestones, recognize contributions, and foster stronger connections within the alumni community.

As ACGACC continues to grow, the collective involvement of its members remains vital in building a more resilient, inclusive, and financially empowered cooperative for all.

ACFECC Celebrates Second Year Milestone
with Stronger Membership and Sustainable Vision

The 2nd General Assembly of the Aldersgate College Faculty and Employees Credit Cooperative (ACFECC), held last March 28, 2026, served as a meaningful gathering that celebrated unity, strengthened collaboration, and reaffirmed the shared vision of its members toward sustainable growth and cooperative excellence.

Under the guidance of Dr. Bernardo R. Balangatan, the assembly highlighted not only the accomplishments of the cooperative but also the admirable commitment of its members to continuously improve and maximize their operations. With a collective desire to enhance efficiency, expand services, and ensure long-term sustainability, the members demonstrated a strong sense of ownership and responsibility in driving the cooperative forward.

A significant highlight of the assembly was the successful conduct of the election of the Board of Directors, Audit Committee, and Election Committee Members, reflecting the cooperative’s commitment to democratic governance, transparency, and accountability. This process further strengthened the foundation of leadership that will steer the organization toward its future goals.

The event was further enriched by the presence of the resource speaker, represented by Hon. Roland M. Carub, J.D., who shared valuable insights on behalf of Congressman Timothy Joseph Cayton. As Chairperson of the Committee on Agriculture, Aquaculture, and Food Security and the Committee on Overseas Filipino Workers Affairs in the Sangguniang Bayan of Solano,he encouraged participants to embrace proactive leadership by taking initiative, anticipating challenges, and actively contributing to the growth of their cooperative. He further emphasized the importance of community-driven initiatives, where members work collaboratively, support one another, and take collective responsibility in creating programs that respond to the real needs of their community, thereby strengthening both organizational resilience and long-term sustainability.

In a strong show of institutional support, Rev. Eduardo B. Copliting Jr., PhD., College President of Aldersgate College, Inc., extended his message through his representative, Kristian Cesar C. Ollier, Acting VPRDE, reaffirming the institution’s unwavering commitment to cooperative advancement and empowerment by actively supporting member initiatives, fostering financial literacy, promoting sustainable practices, and providing guidance and resources to ensure the cooperative thrives and contributes positively to the community.

More than a formal gathering, the assembly reflected the cooperative’s shared aspiration to grow stronger together, driven by dedicated leadership, inspired participation, administration's support and the members’ commendable intention to maximize their operations for the benefit of all.

Celebrating the Culmination of the CATALYSTE+ Engagement at Aldersgate College

Aldersgate College, Inc., in collaboration with CATALYSTE+, marked the successful conclusion of a transformative three-week engagement focusing on the development of a robust Branding and Communication Hub. The exit meeting, held on February 7, 2025, at the Audio Visual Room 2, brought together key stakeholders, faculty, and students to reflect on the outcomes and future directions of this collaborative endeavor.

The program commenced with an invocation led by Rev. Jomar P. Pastores, MTHEOL, setting a reflective and hopeful tone for the gathering. Following this, Ms. Ruth Charlyn D. Ramel, Technology Transfer Officer, delivered the opening remarks, highlighting the significance of strategic branding and communication in fostering the college's vision of global recognition and community impact.

Dr. Bandula Abeysubndara, M.Sc., Ph.D., P.Engr (retired), the esteemed CATALYSTE+ Advisor, presented a comprehensive summary report, encapsulating the progress and milestones achieved throughout the engagement. His insights underscored the critical role of effective communication strategies in enhancing institutional visibility and stakeholder engagement.

An open forum provided a platform for meaningful dialogue, followed by a heartfelt response from the administration, represented by Rev. Micah Ryan B. Ramel, Ph.D., LPT, President of Aldersgate College. He expressed gratitude for the collaborative spirit and dedication of all involved, emphasizing the institution’s commitment to continuous improvement and innovation.

The ceremony concluded with the awarding of certificates to recognize the contributions of participants and key facilitators, symbolizing the shared achievements and collaborative efforts. The closing remarks were delivered by Mr. Kristian Cesar C. Ollier, Director of the BRIDGE Hub, who reflected on the journey of partnership and the promising pathways ahead. The event concluded with a closing prayer by Rev. Jomar P. Pastores, MTHEOL, and a photo opportunity to capture the momentous occasion.

The CATALYSTE+ Engagement has undeniably strengthened Aldersgate College’s capacity to navigate the dynamic landscapes of branding and communication, positioning it as a forward-thinking institution ready to meet the challenges of the future. Through initiatives like this, Aldersgate College reaffirms its dedication to academic excellence, community service, and holistic development.

LEADERSHIP IN ACTION: ACFECC Board Deliberated on Key Matters This July

The Aldersgate College Faculty and Employees Consumers Cooperative (ACFECC) successfully conducted its Monthly Board Meeting on July 2, 2025, through a hybrid setup, combining face-to-face attendance at the BRIDGE Hub and virtual participation via google meet.

Despite the heavy rain and overlapping schedules, the Directors remained engaged, demonstrating their continued commitment to cooperative governance and operational planning.

The meeting covered various strategic, operational, and administrative matters essential to the cooperative’s performance and direction for the rest of the year. Discussions focused on updates, policy reviews, financial considerations, and management concerns.

As the meeting ended, members expressed appreciation for the collaborative effort and looked forward to gradually moving plans into action in the weeks ahead.
