I met Mia when I was 25 and she was 22.
When we met, we struggled with the same things:
Wala kaming pera.
Hindi namin alam ang identity namin.
Nakikinig at susunod lang kami.
Just two twenty somethings figuring life out, one anxiety attack at a time.
We lived in the same condo for a while. Imagine this...
If you stretch your arms wide - yun na yon! That's our condo. Just enough to fit a single-sized bed. Nagsiksikan kami doon.
Pero sa condo na yun kami nangarap.
Sabi namen noon, magtatravel kami. Gusto nga namen mag camp lang sa beach sa Batangas pero ang budget namen P2,000 lang. Dahil umabot ng P5,000 yung bayad, di kame natuloy.
But now we're here.
We stayed in Japan for one whole month.
We traveled Business Class to Dubai.
We rented a yacht all for ourselves.
All I'm saying is this...
It really, really matters who you surround yourself with.
Kung ang mindset niyo ay "Aangat ako para mahila ko rin sila paakyat" o "Magtutulakan tayo paakyat", that's what's gonna happen.
Are you friends with people who make you feel comfortable about aiming big?
