UP Tacloban’s Blood Donation activity makes a successful comeback

On 22 September 2023, the University of the Philippines Tacloban College (UPTC), in partnership with the Philippine Red Cross - Leyte Chapter, conducted a Blood Donation Activity at the UPTC-Multi Purpose Building. This event marks the beginning of a series of blood donation activities for this academic year 2023-2024.

Thirty-eight (38) blood heroes, including UPTC faculty, staff, and students, along with additional volunteers, participated in the bloodletting activity.

The Leyte Dental Society and the Philippine Association of Medical Technologists, Inc. - Leyte (PAMET) also participated in this blood donation drive. The Leyte Dental Society generously provided hygiene kits to the blood donors, promoting both oral and overall health. Meanwhile, PAMET administered Random Blood Sugar Testing to the blood donors to also promote a holistic health awareness.

We extend our deepest gratitude to our partners and everyone who participated and supported this life-saving activity. Your kindness has made a significant impact on the lives of those in need. ❤️
Stay tuned for more updates on our upcoming blood donation activities! Let's continue to save lives together.
